The role involves implementing behavior support plans, conducting FBAs, and training staff and families to ensure consistent, positive outcomes. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a relevant field or PA Behavior Specialist License, and at least 2 years of experience with Autism/IDDs.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in a relevant field (Psychology, Social Work, Education, ABA) or PA Behavior Specialist License.
• Experience with Autism and/or other IDDs is required (minimum 2 years).
• Complete FBA training and post-test certification, or willingness to complete during application.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance for service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Observe participants and collaborate with families to develop and implement positive behavior support plans.
• Complete functional behavioral assessments (FBA) and revise plans as needed.
• Provide training on behavior support plan implementation to staff, relatives, and caretakers.
• Prepare data, progress reports, and planning materials as part of regular documentation.
