Job summary

The Shore Educational Collaborative in Saugus, MA seeks an Instructional Aide to support students with behavioral needs under teacher supervision. The role involves implementing behavior plans, data collection, and delivering daily instruction following individual programs.

Responsibilities include supervising student safety, assisting in class, and training paraprofessionals. A High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Starting immediately; full-time with varying hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• One-year minimum experience with students with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior management programs and provide positive feedback to students.
• Supervise student safety in classrooms, hallways and during community outings.
• Collect and record data on students’ targeted behavior and academic progress.
• Assist teachers in developing behavioral and educational programs.
• Become certified as Safety-Care or equivalent de-escalation training.
• Support paraprofessionals and train new staff as needed.
