The Summit Center, Western New York's leading provider of evidence-based services, seeks a Behavior Support Technician to support classrooms and staff. The role involves observing behavior, collecting data, and helping implement IFSP/IEP mandates while assisting with crisis intervention and staff training.
Qualified candidates typically hold a Bachelor's in psychology or related field, with experience in ABA and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Pay: $23.30/hr.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 37.5 hrs./week

The Behavior Support Technician assists Behavior Support Consultants through classroom observations, data collection, staff training on behavior plans, and monitoring treatment integrity. This role may also assist with special projects, including administrative tasks and crisis intervention training. Additionally, the technician ensures that IFSP/IEP mandates are consistently implemented.

Experience with children or adults with developmental disabilities
1 year: Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis
