Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas educational aide certificate before day one in classroom.
• Two years of college (48 semester hours) or an Associate’s degree or higher.
• Master Teacher courses or approved paraprofessional program.
• BACB‑compliant RBT 40‑hour training completed or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff to implement individualized behavior intervention strategies.
• Provide real-time coaching, modeling, and feedback to staff.
• Collect and interpret behavioral data to support decisions.
• Participate in ARD, MTSS, FBA, BIP, and related meetings.
• Assist with crisis intervention per district procedures.
• Support families and staff in behavior management strategies.
• Deliver professional development on classroom management and behavioral interventions.
• Coordinate with administrators and specialists to ensure consistency.
