Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Passing score on WV Aide competency test.
• Background check completed successfully.
• ABA training including DTT and Positive Behavior.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic computer skills including word processing, data management and spreadsheets.
• Experience/training in challenging behavior and crisis prevention.
• Medium-heavy work capacity.

Responsibilities

• Transport students as needed.
• Collect data and maintain program documentation.
• Assist staff with implementing individual student plans.
• Work with students under BCBA/teacher direction per IEP.
• Support students with behaviors such as aggression or self-injury.
• Assist with classroom activities and routine tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct.
