Job summary

Union School District is seeking a part-time Behavior Interventionist to support identified students with behavioral needs across multiple San Jose sites. The role involves implementing positive behavior plans, collaboration with teachers, and monitoring progress to boost academic engagement.

The incumbent will work under the Principal's direction, provide behavioral support and training to staff and families, and help maintain IEP goals and related services in coordination with the IEP team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology or related field with one year experience.
• Valid California Driver’s License may be required.
• First Aid/CPR certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral support and related activities for identified students.
• Develop and implement behavior plans and IEP goals.
• Collaborate with IEP team and families.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions.
• Deliver staff training on behavior management.
