The MetroHealth System is seeking a dedicated Patient Observer at the Cleveland Heights Health Center to provide constant patient observation during night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will monitor patients in person or via video and ensure safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include documenting observations electronically, completing required training, and maintaining BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Must complete MetroHealth training prior to duties.
• Basic computer skills to document observations electronically.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Existing Behavioral Observers should have certification by 12/31/2017.

Responsabilités

• Under RN supervision, provide constant patient observation (may involve more than one patient).
• Observe in-person or via video monitoring and document observations electronically.
