Hampton Behavioral Health Center in Mount Holly, NJ seeks a Unit Coordinator to manage clerical functions on the nursing unit, supporting patient care in a private behavioral health setting. The role is part-time (24 hours/week) with a 6:45 pm–3:15 pm schedule and rotating weekends, reporting to the treatment team and ensuring accurate documentation and coordinated communications.

Qualifications

• Must possess experience and knowledge of interventional and administrative duties to support nursing and patient care on the unit.
• Assists with unit programming to facilitate therapy carryover and activities of daily living.
• Knowledge of regulatory agency standards (DOH, DPW, CMS, Joint Commission).
• Strong documentation, organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate orally, telephonically, and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Manage clerical functions of the nursing unit to support patient care.
• Assist in direct care and management of patients with medical and behavioral issues as directed by the treatment team.
• Support unit programming and carryover of therapy issues and activities.
• Maintain effective communication with staff and patients; ensure proper documentation.
