Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System Inc. seeks a Behavioral Health Licensed Therapist to lead patient assessments, coordinate discharge planning, and facilitate individual, family, and group therapies.

You will work with the treatment team to ensure funding and legal requirements for involuntary status, while upholding Service Excellence standards. Qualifications include Texas-licensed credentials (LPC/LCSW/LMSW/LMFT), a Master’s in Mental/Behavioral Health, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Licensed Therapist credentials (LPC, LPC-Associate, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT) currently licensed in Texas with a Master’s Degree in Mental/Behavioral Health
• Excels in interpersonal and communication skills
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the treatment team to assess patient needs and plan discharge.
• Facilitates individual and family therapies and daily group therapy.
• Coordinates interventions with Utilization Review to ensure funding and involuntary status requirements.
• Supports Service Excellence standards across customer groups.

Education

Master’s Degree in Mental or Behavioral Health

Licensed Therapist Credentials: LPC, LPC-Associate, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT

BLS certification (American Heart Association)
