Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Counselor to join our behavioral health team in Texas. The Primary Therapist will deliver individual, group and family therapy, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and experiential groups for clients and families.

Responsibilities include overseeing residential facilities, coordinating with clinical teams, and preparing assessments and discharge summaries.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in counseling, social work, psychology or other counseling-related field required.
• LPC, LCSW or LMFT licensure required or intern status.
• Three years of experience in social work or related field.
• Experience with addictions and/or mental health required.
• Knowledge of addiction/mental health models and theories
• Ability to work with diverse cultures and gender-specific issues.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group and family therapy and crisis intervention.
• Oversees residential facilities operations.
• Provides clinical consultation for clients and families.
• Produces psychosocial assessments, treatment plans and discharge summaries.
• Collaborates with clinical case managers to provide comprehensive care.
