Northwest Texas Healthcare System is a 495-bed facility serving Amarillo and surrounding areas, seeking a Behavioral Health Licensed Therapist with leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will collaborate with the treatment team to assess patient needs, coordinate interventions, and ensure compliance with funding and legal requirements for involuntary patients.

Qualifications

• Licensed Therapist Credentials: Texas license (LPC, LPC-Associate, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT) with a Master's in Mental/Behavioral Health.
• Excels in interpersonal and communication skills.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire or within 30 days and maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the provision of departmental services and coordinate with the treatment team to assess and address patient needs.
• Facilitate individual and family therapies and daily group therapy for assigned units.
• Support organization-wide Service Excellence standards and ensure compliance with funding and legal requirements for involuntary patients.
