Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas, seeks a Behavioral Health Licensed Therapist to collaborate with the treatment team on discharge planning and to coordinate psychosocial assessments and interventions. Qualifications

• Licensed therapist credentials required in Texas (LPC, LPC-Associate, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT).
• Master's degree in mental or behavioral health.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of start date and maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the treatment team to assess patient needs related to discharge planning.
• Facilitates individual and family therapies as ordered and conducts daily group therapy for assigned units.
• Completes psychosocial assessments in coordination with unit therapists to identify and address patient needs.
