Job summary

The Department of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time clinician to provide assessment and therapy services to patients with mental health and substance use problems at Harris Health System community clinics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field is required.
• Two years of relevant experience are required.
• Licensure as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or related supervisor credential is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment for behavioral health problems for patients referred by health care providers.
• Develop treatment plans addressing mental health and substance use issues.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and psychiatry staff on patient care.
• Document timely data and report statistically as required.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required by Harris Health System or BCM.
