Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or doctoral degree in clinical/counseling psychology.
• Current California license - LCSW or psychologist.
• Current LPCC license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with primary care providers on assessment and treatment of psychological disorders, substance use disorders, and psycho-social problems.
• Consult and collaborate with primary care providers on treatment of chronic pain and chronic disease and related psycho-social issues.
• Provide psychopharmacological consultation in collaboration with a psychiatrist within scope of practice.
• Offer crisis intervention and behavioral health support.
• Perform intake evaluations, assessments, and various forms of therapy (individual/family/group).
• Coordinate referrals to community resources to support patient needs.
