Job summary

West Central Behavioral Health Clinic in the Bismarck area seeks a Therapist to join an interdisciplinary team providing diagnostic assessments, service planning, therapy, crisis intervention, and community-based care.

Travel to clients’ homes and communities is routine; a master’s degree and ND licensure/licensing options are required, with a sign-on bonus up to $16,000.

Qualifications

• To be considered for the Behavioral Health Therapist position, you are required to have a master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or areas approved by the North Dakota Board of Counseling Examiners and ND licensure as a LCSW or LPCC.
• We will consider filling this position as a Human Relations Counselor at a reduced pay rate between 5,900 and 6,400 per month.
• Behavioral Health Counselors must have master's degrees in counseling and LAPC licensure, as well as be within two years of LPCC licensure. Details regarding licensure status and the number of training hours already obtained must be submitted with the application.
• This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.

You will be involved in guiding care provided by other team members, as well as ongoing monitoring and service recommendations. You will provide individual, family, group therapy, crisis intervention, and risk assessments in the office and in the community. You may also provide education and consult to families, community stakeholders, interns, and residents.

ND HHS utilizes a blended workplace model. This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position needs to be able to travel to meet clients at their location.

Minimum Qualifications
