Job summary

Badlands Behavioral Health Clinic in Dickinson seeks a Clinician to work in a team-based, home- and community-based setting. The role involves completing assessments, developing service plans, and guiding a multidisciplinary team to deliver care.

Responsibilities include individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, and risk assessments. Travel to client homes is required as part of regular duties.

Qualifications

Job description

Badlands Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking a Clinician (Team-based) in the Dickinson area.

Sign on Bonus minimum of $10,000.

Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.

Be part of an interdisciplinary team that provides individuals with an opportunity for recovery management so they can live and work independently in their home and community.

In a typical week, you will complete assessments and service plans. You will be involved in the organizing, directing, and guiding of care provided by other team members, as well as ongoing monitoring and update of service recommendations. You will provide skills training, as well as individual, family, and group therapy. You will provide crisis intervention and risk assessments in the office, in the community and on call. Also, you will provide education and consultation to families, community, interns, and residents.

Location

This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position needs to be able to travel to meet clients at their location.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for the Clinician position, you are required to have a master's degrees in Social Work, Counseling, or areas approved by the North Dakota Board of Counseling Examiners and ND licensure as a LCSW or LPCC.

• or masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy AND licensure as LMFT by the ND Board of Marriage and Family Therapy
• or a masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology with eligibility for licensure as LMFT by the ND Board of Marriage and Family Therapy.
• or a Doctorate in Psychology and ND licensure as a psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners.

We will consider filling this position as a Human Relations Counselor at a reduced rate.

Human Relations Counselors must have master's degrees in Counseling and LAPC licensure, as well as be within two years of LPCC licensure. Details regarding licensure status and the number of training hours already obtained must be submitted with the application.

This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.
