Job summary

South Central Behavioral Health Clinic- Bridges to Recovery in Jamestown, ND, seeks a Direct Care Associate Adult Full-Time for night shift to support clients on their recovery journey.

You will help clients identify goals, teach life skills, monitor well-being and assist with medication administration, with on-site training provided and a valid driver"s license required.

  • Valid driver's license and successful completion of defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.

South Central Behavioral Health Clinic- Bridges to Recovery is seeking a Direct Care Associate Adult Full-Time in Jamestown, ND.

No experience required; on-site training provided.

Night Shift: 10pm - 6:30am

As a Direct Care Associate you will connect with clients and support them on their recovery journey.

Each day, you will aid individuals to identify their goals for recovery, learning, and life. You will assist in generalizing the skills clients learn during substance use and mental health groups. You will work with clients to develop effective communication and socialization skills, as well as teach self-advocacy and self-help strategies. You will observe and monitor individuals' condition. documenting and reporting any changes in well being. You will also assist clients in the administration of their medication.

You will thrive in this position if you are an empathetic individual and have a passion for teaching individuals life skills and how to overcome barriers that may be present in their lives.

To be considered for this position you must have a high school diploma or GED. Experience providing direct care to special populations is preferred. We will provide Medication Assistant training onsite if not currently certified.

The position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.

Location

ND HHS utilizes a blended workplace model. This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position needs to be able to travel to meet clients at their location.
