Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians for third shift (11pm–7:30am) at our detox and residential facility. You will help manage daily operations, supervise, and support the BHT team to maintain a calm, recovery-focused environment.

We value leadership, empathy, and strong boundaries. Candidates with a HS diploma, CPR certification, and sobriety if in recovery are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations ( Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications, etc.).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.
