Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in South Bend, IN seeks a Behavioral Health Tech to manage daily residential operations, oversee client engagement, and support the BHT team across shifts. The role emphasizes safety, compassionate care, and adherence to facility policies within a detox/residential setting.

You will contribute to a warm recovery environment, supervise activities, and escalate crises as needed while upholding recovery principles and professionally representing the program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, at least 1 year of sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
