Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Virginia Beach is seeking a dedicated leader to oversee daily residential operations across intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications. You will train and support the BHT team, escalate crises, and ensure a warm recovery environment consistent with our policies.

You will also be responsible for maintaining client engagement, morale, and strong adherence to rules and procedures, while modeling recovery principles with empathy and

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Valid drivers license and CPR certification preferred.
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.).
Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.
