Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians to support our second and third shifts at the Eastern Shore facility. You will manage daily residential operations, supervise staff, and ensure a safe, recovery-focused environment for residents.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and at least one year of sobriety if in recovery. Strong leadership and empathetic communication are essential to success.

• Valid driver's license and CPR certification required
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food, service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures

Avenues Recovery Center at Eastern Shore is a 100-bed residential facility which offers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.
