Job summary

Genesee Health System seeks a full-time Behavioral Health Technician for its Behavioral Health Urgent Care in Flint, MI. The role covers day shifts (8 am–8:30 pm), working 40 hours across 12-hour shifts three days a week, with weekend/holiday rotations.

You will support individuals with mental health conditions, SUD, and IDD, both adults and children. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, car insurance, reliable transportation, and ability to work

Qualifications

• One year paraprofessional experience working with persons with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor, provides paraprofessional support to individuals with mental health conditions, SUD, and IDD, including adults and children.
• Instructs individuals in basic personal, social, and work-related skills and completes related tasks as needed.
