Job summary

Genesee Health System (GHS) is hiring a full-time Behavioral Health Technician for the Behavioral Health Urgent Care in Flint, MI. Shifts are 12 hours, 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., three times weekly, with pay for 40 hours and potential weekend/holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, current car insurance, and reliable transportation during program hours.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, irregular hours, and participate in on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including adults and children.
• Instruct individuals in basic personal, social, and work-related skills.
• Complete other related tasks as needed.
