Job summary

Engage Wellness MO is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support clients in residential or outpatient settings. You will monitor behavior, ensure safety, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a structured, therapeutic environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong communication and de-escalation skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in behavioral health or related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document client behavior, safety, and progress.
• Provide direct supervision and support in residential or outpatient settings.
• Assist with daily activities, meals, hygiene, and structured programming.
• Facilitate or support group sessions and recreational activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with clinical staff.
• De-escalate situations and support clients in crisis when necessary.
