Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Springfield, MO seeks a part-time Behavioral Health Technician I to provide direct and supportive care to clients in a safe, compassionate environment. You will help manage daily activities, monitor well-being, and assist with crises as needed.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and relevant experience; some roles require certifications. You will join a team dedicated to recovery, evidence-based practices, and respectful, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Human Services or related field preferred.
• For St. Louis County Programs: Bachelor’s Degree, or MAADC I or II.
• For Residential Care Facility: LIMA credential and Insulin Certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clients' safety and daily activity participation.
• Monitor vital signs and escalate as needed.
• Facilitate group education and therapeutic activities.
• Document behaviors and report concerns.
• Assist clients with personal care and medication self-administration.
