Job summary

JourneyPure Knoxville is looking for a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to support clients in their daily activities and recovery journey. You will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, monitoring client safety, assisting with daily activities, facilitating group sessions, and documenting behaviors. A high school diploma is required, and experience in behavioral health is preferred. Benefits include 401(k), health insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

  • Experience in behavioral health or related field preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor client safety and provide supervision at all times.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities and routines.
  • Facilitate groups and recreational activities as assigned.
  • Document client behaviors and interactions accurately.
  • Support clinical staff in implementing treatment plans.
  • Conduct room checks and ensure facility rules are followed.
  • Provide transportation for clients as needed.
  • Respond to crisis situations and follow proper protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment.
