Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Denver, CO is hiring a shift supervisor for first shift (7am-3pm). You will support medical and clinical teams, coordinate admissions, transportation, meals and supervision, and maintain a safe, recovery-focused environment for clients.

You will lead BHTs on shift, ensure smooth administrative operations, and uphold all center policies. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, professional demeanor are essential for success.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills are essential.
Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality; supports recovery principles.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones).
Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment.
Monitor clients and enforce all policies to ensure safety of clients and staff.
Record and escalate critical communications/incidents promptly.
Fulfill administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support).
Oversee all BHTs on shift and provide training and support.

What You'll Do

Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
Record and elevate any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner
Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)
Oversee all BHTs on your shift and provide training and support

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED preferred
Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
If in recovery, a minimum one - year period of sustained sobriety required
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality
Dignified character that models recovery principles
