Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring a Lead Behavioral Health Technician for our Detox and Residential facility. You will oversee daily operations, supervise the BHT team, and maintain a warm, recovery-focused environment while ensuring safety and adherence to policies.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred, and ideally at least one year of sobriety if in recovery.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.
