Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring a Lead Behavioral Health Technician for our Detox and Residential facility. You will oversee daily operations, supervise the BHT team, and help maintain a warm, recovery-focused environment for residents.

We seek a candidate with a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification preferred, a valid driver’s license, and strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
