Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician for our new inpatient detox and residential facility in Richmond, VA. You will oversee daily residential operations, support the BHT team, and help maintain a warm, recovery-focused environment for clients.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and CPR certification if possible; sobriety of at least one year is preferred. Strong leadership and empathetic communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations ( Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications )
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures

What You'll Do
