Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis is hiring a Lead Behavioral Health Technician for our Detox and Residential facility. You will oversee daily operations, train the BHT team, and maintain a warm recovery environment for clients.

The role requires strong leadership, empathy, and adherence to program rules. We look for a candidate with a High School diploma (GED accepted), CPR and a valid license, and a commitment to recovery principles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR preferred.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sobriety required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character modeling recovery principles.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily residential operations including intake, supervision, events, transportation, meals and medications.
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to Lead BHT.
• Oversee client engagement and morale to maintain a positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with Avenues rules and procedures.

What You'll Do

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles
