Resolution Think, LLC seeks a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician in El Paso, TX. The role provides direct behavioral health services, conducts screenings, supports patient care, and assists in psycho-educational groups under supervision of a Behavioral Health Provider.

You will document observations in the electronic health record, monitor safety, coordinate follow-up care, and help with crisis management while maintaining compliance with IHSC standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a behavioral science/specialty field.
• Minimum of two year experience in a healthcare setting as a behavioral health technician, or similar position in a residential healthcare setting.
• Maintains BLS for Healthcare Providers® certification through the American Heart Association®.
• American Association of Psychiatric Technicians (AAPT) certification at level three within 12 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Under clinical direction of a licensed Behavioral Health Provider assists in direct services including health data collection and wellness checks.
• Maintains basic knowledge of behavioral health interventions and awareness of medications and side effects.
• Facilitates basic therapeutic and psycho-education groups and provides direct patient education and care.
• Assists in developing behavioral treatment interventions such as coping skills and anger management.
• Gathers patient care information to assist providers with diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Documents clinical observations of patient behavior and changes observed.
• Performs medical housing unit monitoring and wellness checks.
• Conducts crisis management in emergent situations per facility procedures.
• Manages program schedules including group schedules and telehealth appointments.
• Chaperones and records vital signs for Tele-Behavioral Health visits when available.
