Job summary

Resolution Think, LLC seeks a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support mental health screenings, patient care management and psychosocial groups. The BHT augments on-site behavioral services with patient education, wellness checks, sleep checks, behavioral observations, and compliance coaching for medical and mental health patients.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a behavioral science/specialty field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a healthcare setting as a behavioral health technician or similar role in a residential healthcare setting.
• Maintains BLS for Healthcare Providers certification through the American Heart Association.
• AAPT certification at level three within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum two years of experience
• U.S. citizenship in accordance with federal contract requirements.
• Current physical and immunizations for credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Under the clinical direction of a licensed Behavioral Health Provider, assist in providing direct services including health data collection, observations of behaviors and wellness checks, sleep hygiene, activities of daily living support, patient safety and risk monitoring.
• Maintain basic knowledge of behavioral health interventions and awareness of psychotropic medications and effects on patient functioning.
• Facilitate basic therapeutic and psycho-education groups and provide direct individual patient education and care.
• Assist in developing behavioral treatment interventions such as coping skills and anger management.
• Gather patient care information to assist providers with diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.
• Document clinical observations of patient mood, affect, sleep, eating, and overall functioning.
