Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Columbia, Missouri, is seeking a Part Time or PRN Behavioral Health Technician to support clients across Recovery Services, Crisis Services and Adult Housing. You will provide direct care, monitor health and safety, assist with medication administration, facilitate therapeutic activities, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to promote recovery.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Prior experience in Human Services or related fields advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Admit, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients.
  • Monitor vital signs and withdrawal symptoms; escalate as needed.
  • Administer and document medications per policy.
  • Facilitate group activities, education sessions, and recreational programming.
  • Respond to crisis calls and communicate with supervisors as needed.
