Responsibilities

  • Admit, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients.
  • Monitor vital signs and withdrawal symptoms; escalate to medical staff when needed.
  • Administer and document medications per policy and training certifications.
  • Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper storage and disposal.
  • Conduct supervision checks and support safety protocols.
  • Assist clients with personal care (e.g., grooming, bathing, dressing).
  • Promote adherence to program expectations using trauma-informed approaches.
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to support client goals and interventions.
  • Document behaviors, progress, and concerns in client records.
  • Assist with admissions, orientations, and specimen collection.
  • Respond to crisis calls and communicate with supervisors as needed.
  • Facilitate group activities, education sessions, and recreational programming.
