Qualifications

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Nursing Assistant Certificate (SRNA/CNA) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Handle with Care certification required within 7 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of an RN, assists in assuring optimal patient care.
• Monitor patients, observe behaviors, and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist patients with hygiene, meals, routines, and daily living activities.
• Follow care plans developed by clinicians, leading or supporting therapeutic activities.
• De-escalate crises and respond to behavioral or emotional incidents.
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to nurses and the care team.
