Summary

An Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) Behavioral Health Technician provides individual services to children and youth, aligned with the goals of the Individual Resiliency Plan. Responsibilities include implementing, modeling, and coaching identified interventions to promote crisis stabilization, and supporting children/youth, caregivers, and team members with challenging behaviors across various settings.

Education/Experience

An IBHS Behavioral Health Technician must have one of the following:

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus forty hours of training covering the RBT Task List, evidenced by a certification including the trainer's name, who must be certified as a BCBA or BCaBA.
• At least two years of experience in behavioral health services.
• Certification as a BCaBA.
• Certification as an RBT.
• Certification as a BCAT.
• Behavioral Health or Behavioral Analysis Certification from an organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute.
