Job Description
In accordance with the needs of the populations served by ABA Support Services LLC, the Behavioral Health Technician/Direct Therapist will organize and maintain data collection and analysis systems, assist with behavioral assessments and program implementation, support clinical activities and staff/parent training, and assume lead therapist duties during absences.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Collect and record data on observable client behavior.
- Assist lead therapist with data analysis, graphing, and summarizing.
- Write progress notes, update programs, create session materials, and maintain documentation.
- Participate actively in implementing baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions.
- Prepare and clean up session-related activities and materials.
- Assist with protocol dissemination, reviews, and staff/parent training.
- Use safe handling and management procedures when working with clients.
- Provide direct client care following behavioral protocols, in one-on-one or group settings.
- Take on lead therapist responsibilities in their absence.
- Shadow or co-treat for 2-4 hours weekly.
- Report parent concerns to the lead therapist.
- Report suspected child abuse within 24 hours.
Requirements
- Own transportation and proof of registration and insurance.
- Check email daily.
Physical Requirements
- Assume various postures for extended periods.
- Follow clients promptly and pivot quickly.
- Lift, carry, and restrain clients as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, parents, and staff.
- Have visual acuity to assess work quality.
- Travel between locations.
- Be supervised for at least 5% of billable hours weekly.
- Work at a computer for extended periods.
Reporting Relationships
- Report to the Supervising Behavior Analyst, HR, and Office Manager as appropriate.
- No direct supervisees.
Qualifications
- Experience in reputable clinics, homes, or schools preferred.
- At least 1 year of direct service experience with children with Autism.
- Willingness to learn behavioral applications across environments.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, with flexibility and patience.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 60 college credits or higher in relevant fields preferred.
Experience
Experience with behavioral services for children with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Related Training
- Maintain current CPR, seizure, child abuse, crisis management training, and RBT certification.
- Complete IBHS and BACB RBT requirements within specified timelines.
- Basic computer skills required.
