Job summary

Brightli in Quincy, IL is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician I to provide supportive care and participate in treatment planning under supervision. This role is on-site and on-call, with hourly pay starting at $16.50 plus potential shift differential.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. No prior experience required, on-the-job training is provided, with opportunities for professional growth and a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Collaborative care: participate in treatment planning and meetings.
• Client support: assist with daily living activities; provide education.
• Program monitoring: ensure clients follow rules and report behaviors.
• Medication oversight: follow protocols; coordinate with nursing staff.
• Admissions & orientation: support intake processes and safety checks.
• Transportation: provide transportation assistance when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborative Care: Actively participate in treatment planning and team meetings
• Client Support: Assist clients with daily living activities and provide education as needed

Education and Experience Qualifications

For Kirksville RCF staff, Illinois staff, and Kansas Residential staff only:

Must provide evidence that incumbent is free of infectious and contagious disease, such as TB, prior to beginning employment and annually thereafter.
