Job summary

Brightli in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support individuals on their recovery journey. This role offers hands-on work, paid training, and opportunities across adult and youth programs, with flexible full-time or part-time options.

You will work with clinicians and nursing staff in a structured environment, contribute to safety and recovery goals, and gain real-world experience in behavioral health.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals receiving care.
  • Work alongside clinicians, nurses, and other professionals while helping individuals build skills, maintain stability, and achieve recovery goals.
  • Supporting clients in daily routines and recovery-focused activities.
  • Helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
  • Leading or assisting with group activities and educational sessions.
  • Observing, documenting, and communicating client behaviors to the treatment team.
  • Assisting with admissions, orientations, and safety procedures.
  • Responding calmly and appropriately to crisis situations.
  • Providing transportation support when needed.
  • Working closely with nurses, clinicians, and other team members to support treatment plans.
  • Building respectful, supportive relationships with the individuals we serve.

What You’ll Do

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals receiving care. No two days are exactly alike. You’ll work alongside clinicians, nurses, and other professionals while helping individuals build skills, maintain stability, and achieve recovery goals.
