Brightli is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician in Farmington, MO to provide direct care and support within a treatment team. You will help with admissions, education, and transportation assistance while adhering to medication policies and program rules.

The role emphasizes collaboration with nursing staff and ongoing professional development in a supportive, compassionate environment. Must have a driver’s license and high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of responsible employment history.
• Must have a driver’s license.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients/patients.
• Job Training Provided and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Basic computer skills; experience in behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Active Participation: participate as an integral member of the treatment team, assisting in identifying client strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences; carry out supervisor requests.
• Program Compliance: ensure adherence to all program expectations and rules, reporting behaviors to supervisors for effective therapeutic interventions.
• Medication Policies: adhere to all medication policies and collaborate with nursing staff to guarantee compliance.
• Admission/Orientation Assistance: assist in admission/orientation process, including vital signs, safety searches, and urine/lab specimens collection.
• Client Education and Support: assist and educate clients in performing daily activities as needed.
• Transportation Assistance: provide transportation support for clients as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Compliance: Ensure adherence to all program expectations and rules, reporting behaviors to supervisors for effective therapeutic interventions

• Medication Policies: Adhere rigorously to all medication policies and collaborate with trained nursing staff to guarantee compliance, whether the medication is administered by the client/patient oranassociate.

• Admission/Orientation Assistance: Assist in the admission/orientation process, including obtaining vital signs if applicable, safety searches of client/patient and belongings, and collecting any necessary urine/lab specimens for testing.

• Client Education and Support: Assist and educate clients/patients in performing daily activities as needed.

• Transportation Assistance: Provide transportation support for clients/patients as required.
  

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

• High School education or equivalent

• Minimum of two (2) years of responsible employment history
  

Required License/Certification:

• Must have a driver’s license
  

Additional Qualifications:
