Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Mental Health Technician at Highland Park Hospital. You will support nurses, deliver direct patient care, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients with behavioral health disorders.

The role requires a high school diploma, de-escalation skills, CPI within 90 days of hire, and a valid driver’s license if off-site duties are performed. Experience in psychiatric settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to demonstrate de-escalation and behavior management techniques.
• Valid driver's license if off-site duties are required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct patient care to behavioral health patients under RN supervision.
• Provides assistance with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Carries out care plans and follows infection control standards.
• Supports patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Maintains a therapeutic milieu and documents care in real time.
