Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Behavioral Healthcare Technician (BHT) in Marietta, GA to support clients and the program through a range of responsibilities. The role includes intake assistance, hygiene monitoring, and coordinating activities within a therapeutic setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid GA driver’s license; CPI and CPR/AED certification required.
• Preferred: Two years of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting.
• Experience working with both adolescents and adults preferred.
• Reasonable substitution of experience and education may be allowed in a related mental health field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the intake process for new clients entering the program.
• Administer drug screens/UDS for substance abuse clients.
• Participate in discharge planning, case management, and discharge tracking.
• Provide orientation for new clients.
• Communicate effectively with staff verbally and through written logs; responsible for detailed client logs.
• Listen to clients regarding all areas of treatment and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention.
• Coordinate client activities such as lectures, recreation, and meetings.
• Attend shift changes, team meetings, and company meetings.
• Ensure the daily client schedule is followed. Assist with client interventions and follow treatment plan objectives.
• Transport clients as needed.
• Monitor client treatment for hygiene and medical needs.
• Uphold therapeutic boundaries and adhere to the Staff Code of Ethics.
• Evaluate and provide input on the behavioral and emotional needs of clients.
• Help maintain the facility’s upkeep. Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary:

High Focus in Marietta is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Behavioral Healthcare Technician (BHT). The role is integral in supporting clients and the program through various responsibilities.

Address: 1642 Powers Ferry Rd #200, Marietta, GA 30067

Shift options include:

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm, with the possibility of staying until 5:30pm one day per week.

Pay Range: $17-20/hr.
