Pyramid Healthcare New River Valley Inpatient in Radford, VA is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support clients entering treatment. You'll work closely with the clinical team to provide structure, safety, and encouragement as clients take steps toward recovery.

No prior behavioral health experience is required if you have a high school diploma or GED, a dependable attitude, and a desire to help others. This full-time role offers 12-hour shifts and benefits.

Responsibilities

Welcome and support new clients as they enter treatment
Help clients navigate daily schedules and activities
Provide encouragement and support as clients work toward treatment goals
Monitor client behavior and emotional well-being
Respond appropriately when clients need additional support, including during challenging situations
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment
Assist with clients' daily needs and activities
Observe and document medication self-administration when applicable
Complete required documentation and training
Protect client privacy and confidentiality
Work alongside the clinical team to support each client's recovery

You'll be part of their daily experience—providing support, encouragement, structure, and a safe environment while learning valuable skills in behavioral healthcare.

What You'll Do

Position Details

6226 University Park Drive, Radford, VA 24141

$15.00/hour + shift differentials

12-hour shifts | 7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM

40 hours/week with weekend scheduling
