Job summary

Pasadena Villa in Sevierville, TN is seeking an Entry Level Behavioral Health Technician to work 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, including weekends. The role involves supporting clients, maintaining a safe, therapeutic milieu and documenting observations.

Requirements include a High School diploma (Bachelor's preferred), at least 1 year in behavioral healthcare, CPR/First Aid, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a behavioral healthcare setting.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Background clearance, TB test, and other state/federal requirements.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures client rounding and safety checks according to clinical criteria.
• Engages clients in therapeutic activities within and outside the milieu.
• Promptly documents services, incidents, shift and department reports.
• Communicates safety risks and adheres to clinical precautions.
• Coordinates necessary healthcare visits with nursing staff.
• Maintains inventory and organizes office materials for staff.
• Maintains therapeutic environment, safety, and resident well-being.
• Supports medication compliance by prompting residents to nursing.
