Job summary

STR Cedar Creek Behavioral Health Technicians support clients throughout shifts, assist with daily living, maintain safety, and help create a therapeutic milieu. You will document in patient records and communicate with the clinical team to coordinate care.

Collaboration with staff, adherence to policies, and timely response during crises are essential. A high school diploma and 1+ year experience are preferred, with CPR/First Aid certification and TB clearance required.

Qualifications

• Requires CPR and First Aid certifications.
• 1+ year experience working with clients with mental health issues preferred.
• TB clearance and CPI training within 3 months may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with clinical team to determine interventions.
• Engages clients in milieu activities and group sessions.
• Prompts and assists with ADLs and room hygiene checks.
• Monitors safety and therapeutic environment; de-escalates crises.
• Documents services, incident reports, and shift notes promptly.
• Supports discharge planning and client admissions when needed.
