Job summary

Compass Health, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Technician (Community Living Instructor BHCC) to provide compassionate support during behavioral crises at the BHCC, with weekend shifts 7:00am-7:30pm.

Under supervision, you’ll ensure safety, assist with daily needs, mentor staff, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. A High School/GED and at least one year in psychiatric, nursing, or ER settings are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• At least one year of psychiatric, nursing, or emergency room experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support to individuals during crisis and meet daily needs.
• Monitor safety and create a supportive environment.
• Participate in medication administration following L1MA training.
• Share observations with the treatment team to improve care.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming BHCC environment.
• Mentor new staff and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
