Everwell Port St. Lucie Hospital, Inc is seeking compassionate Mental Health Technicians to support patients in behavioral health programs. The MHT provides direct patient care, ensures safety, assists with daily living activities, and supports therapeutic programming.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, assisting with daily activities, supporting therapy, de-escalation, and documenting vital signs. Collaboration with nurses and therapists is essential for a safe, healing environment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Florida Driver's License required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Experience in behavioral health preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Mansioni

• Monitor patient safety and observe patient behaviors.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Support therapeutic and recreational activities.
• Utilize verbal de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques.
• Monitor vital signs and document patient information accurately.
• Escort patients throughout the facility as needed.
