Job summary

Apploi is seeking compassionate Mental Health Technicians to support patients in our behavioral health programs. As part of the treatment team, the MHT provides direct patient care, ensures safety, assists with daily living activities, and supports therapeutic programming.

The role emphasizes collaboration with nurses, therapists, and staff, crisis de-escalation, and participating in treatment team meetings and patient education.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification is required.
• Florida driver's license required.
• Behavioral health coursework preferred.
• Experience in psychiatric, healthcare, or nursing home settings is preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork and crisis management skills.
• Ability to work with individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
