Job summary

WestCare Foundation is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to supervise clients, support daily activities, and maintain safety within the facility in Saint Petersburg, FL. The role involves assisting with chores, transporting clients to appointments, and documenting daily notes under supervision. Vaccination requirements may apply per policy.

The position is full-time and on-site. A current Florida driver's license is required, and candidates must be at least 21 years old.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Florida Driver License.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of clients to ensure safety of residents.
• Model appropriate behavior and compliance with program rules.
• Assist with chores and mealtime preparation; facilitate house meetings.
• Transport clients to appointments as needed.
• Complete support documentation and daily notes for assigned clients.
• Witness/monitor clients taking medication as required.
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate situations and ensure safety.
• Work under supervision of Program Coordinator.
• Support WestCare Foundation's mission and goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
